Serene log cabin retreat near Waipi'o Valley

This two bedroom and two bathroom Log Cabin is located in lush and peaceful Ahualoa, just an 8 minute drive up the mountain from historic Honokaa town. The Log Cabin is a great setting for those that want plenty of space in a serene setting. You can enjoy a stroll around the yard or a walk in the area, it is just beautiful and naturally diverse. The space The Log Cabin is made up of 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms on about 2000 square feet of living space which sits on about 24,000 square feet of land (a little over 1/2 acre). The first floor has a fully equipped kitchen, a large living room (with cable on a 50 inch TV) and one bedroom (with 2 beds) and its own private bathroom. On the second floor you have a multi-purpose room connecting to the large master suite. The home has Wi-Fi throughout. The backyard has a gazebo with a BBQ and a dining table allowing you to enjoy the outdoors in comfort. A firepit is also available. We have everything you need on your island paradise vacation including beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, coolers, body boards, and beach towels). Important: For this listing, 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom upstairs will be unavailable to guests. We restrict access in order to offer a more attractive price for guests (for smaller groups). Guest access There are multiple complimentary parking spots on the lot with plenty of space between you and the nearest neighbors. Other things to note Keys: if you lock yourself out of a bedroom the spare keys can be found on the wall behind the dining table in the kitchen above the mirror. Weather: During the winter months Ahualoa gets to the low 50s F in the evenings. Please bring the appropriate clothing. We rent out a 2025 Toyota 4Runner (with 3rd row seating (7 total seats)), a 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser and a 2023 Toyota Sienna (8 seater minivan) available to be rented (on the Turo platform). We can have the car delivered to the Kona airport for your convenience. Animals: There is a super friendly outdoor cat that hangs around the property (outside only). While we complete pest control every month, you may see critters including geckos and spiders in the house. This is the case with most of Hawaii.
