The sofa bed in the living room is a great feature as it can comfortably accommodate additional guests, making it perfect for families or groups with an additional pack and play upon request. The private balcony offers a lovely outdoor dining set where you can enjoy your meals while taking in the beautiful views. The kitchen is fully equipped with a portable burner and all the necessary utensils and appliances, allowing you to easily prepare delicious home-cooked meals during your stay. Furthermore, the bathroom has been recently renovated and now features a brand new bathtub and shower. You'll also find that all bath amenities are provided, along with fresh towels, so there's no need to worry about bringing any from home. The size of this studio apt. is 313 sq. ft. with a large covered lanai of 104 sq. ft. equaling a nice sized studio apartment of 417 sq. ft. In Unit: *King size bed with plush memory foam mattress. *Fresh linens and beddings. *Full size sofa bed. *55” smart HDTV with built-in Netflix & more. *Window AC *Free Wifi throughout the unit and building. Speeds of up to 300 Mbps for uploads and up to 500 Mbps for downloads. *Iron and tabletop ironing board. *Graco Pack n' Play (we will be sure to place it in the room for you prior to your arrival, we do not have the linens and blankets for it so please prepare your personal items.) Kitchen: *Full size refrigerator. *Portable burner. *Basic cooking utensils, pots and pans. *Keurig coffee maker. *Hot water kettle. *Microwave *Toaster *Blender. *Bowls, plates, cups, utensils and dishwashing liquids. *Cleaning supplies Bathroom: *Shower w/ bathtub. *Shampoo, conditioner and body wash included. *Hair dryer. *Fresh hand, bath towels and washcloths. *Beach towels. Building Amenities (6th Floor) *Convenience store *Pool Deck (open from 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m) *Hot Tub *Sauna Room (open from 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.) *Ice Vending Machines *Laundry Area (paid) *Gym -open 24-hours daily (1 time $10 fee per person for gym access. If you do not wish to use the gym, you do not have to pay for the gym access fee). *Bbq Grills- open from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Check-in is after 3:00 PM. While we may be able to accommodate an earlier check-in, it’s not guaranteed and must be requested in advance. Please reach out around 12 noon on your arrival day to check availability. Please note that we are a vacation rental, not a hotel. While we don’t provide daily cleaning services, the unit is professionally cleaned before each guest's arrival. Fresh towels are not replenished daily, but you are welcome to use the building's laundry facilities. If you would like additional or fresh towels during your stay, we offer them for $30 per set. Parking Information: *Island Colony Garage: Parking is available in the adjacent garage for $47 per day (subject to change). Payment can be made directly to ProPark. *On-Site Rental Option: 808 Smart Car, located in the building, offers convenient rentals. Many guests find it easier to rent for the day, return the car before closing, and rent again as needed to avoid parking fees. Guest access The Island Colony is conveniently located near various stores, including one on the 6th floor of the building, as well as plenty of dining options and boutique shops all within a block—perfect for exploring on foot! Public transportation is easily accessible with a nearby stop for "The Bus," which can take you across the island. The Waikiki Trolley (for a fee) also has several pickup points nearby, and Uber is always an option for getting around. Check-in’s a breeze with 24/7 front desk check-in services. Entrance door is equipped with a smart-lock and pin for safe and easy entry. The parking structure is attached to the building by the main entrance. Guests will have access to the pool and Jacuzzi area from 7am-9pm (located on the 6th floor), however the pool closes every 3 hours for a cleaning. There is also a gym on the same level that requires a $10 fee per stay as well as waiver needs to be signed at the front desk for checkout. Parking is available for $47 per 24 hours, payable to the attendant or machine. In and out privileges are included; inquire for more details. There is a rental car place on the ground floor of the building, which is a convenient option for renting a car onsite. The parking area has a height limit of 6 feet 2 inches. A Biki station, part of Hawaii’s bike share program, is also nearby. The beach is about a 5-10 minute walk away. Everything else in Waikiki, including shops and restaurants, is within walking distance as you explore the area. Other things to note ⚠️ POOL MAINTENANCE ADVISORY: Our 6th-floor pool, jacuzzi, and deck will be closed for annual safety maintenance from Nov 8, 2026 (9 PM) to Nov 16, 2026 (7 AM). Access will be strictly restricted during this time. We appreciate your patience as we keep our facilities in top shape. ⚠️ Any ongoing renovations or construction throughout the building are out of our control. However, if you have any concerns, we are happy to reach out to the building management prior to booking to check whether any renovations or construction projects are scheduled during your stay. ⚠️ Garbage Disposal Rule: Please avoid putting large food particles or excessive waste down the disposal. If a clog occurs and large particles are found in the disposal, a $200 plumbing fee will be charged. We kindly request that you refrain from smoking inside the property or in non-designated areas. Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors and near the premises. Please be aware that any violations will result in a $500 fine. Additionally, if building management issues a citation to us as owners or hosts, we may escalate the matter to the platform. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a clean and healthy environment. Occasional water and power interruptions may occur due to maintenance or operational activities managed solely by building management, which are common in hospitality properties. These instances are beyond our control, but we do our best to communicate any notices in advance. Given our prime location near tourist spots, occasional noise may arise from building maintenance, neighboring activities, or the surrounding urban environment. We appreciate your understanding and patience. If any disruptions significantly impact your stay, please reach out—we are here to help ensure a comfortable and pleasant experience. Once your booking is confirmed, please provide the requested information found in the welcome message so we can pre-register you. Please note that any guest registration submitted within 48 hours of check-in will incur a $10 late submission fee. This policy is enforced by the building to help reduce check-in line congestion and minimize delays. Late submissions may result in guests being asked to wait until those with timely registrations are assisted.
