You can also walk to the Maui Ocean Center Aquarium. If you are looking for a long hike along the beach just walk to the end of Hauoli Street and you can walk the entire length of Sugar Beach. Just beautiful. Snorkel right in the back yard (sort of speak) Centrally located to Kihei, Kahalui, Lahaina, and many other parts of the island. I just love this location.
