Yes, this is a small llama ranch. Greet each morning with the sunrise feeding any of our 11 llamas located right outside your door. On top of that, this apartment is virtually brand new! The space Located on 10 acres on Blue Mountain, this location cannot be beat if any of the following are true: You want to hike, mountain bike, enjoy some peace and quiet but still be close to town, OR you love llamas. Our property is unique in that we do have 11 llamas on our property that you are free to visit and feed whenever your heart desires. On top of that, Blue Mountain is one of the most popular hiking and mountain biking destinations in Missoula. Fortunately, you can access any of three trailheads right from our road. The apartment itself is brand new and since it is in the basement, it is always nice and cool, even in the summer. We do live on the property, but you have your own, fairly large porch where you can watch the sunrise every morning. The kitchen has a full fridge, stove and oven. The bathroom has a beautiful new tile shower, and rest assured you will not feel cramped as you have 900 square feet all to yourself. This property is often booked by people attending events in the Bitterroot as we are between Lolo and Missoula. Come and enjoy any of our many attractions. We would love to have you. You have your own porch and private use of the whole apartment. Other things to note Please note, we also have 2 dogs. They are all very friendly but if you are dog adverse, this may not be the place for you. Additionally, we did just get a kitten, but the kitten has never and will never be in the apartment space as we are aware that many people are allergic to cats. ***If you are bringing a dog, it must be controlled and not one to chase the llamas (so definitely no herding dogs). Our llamas are big and if a new dog runs in the llama pen, it is possible for them to rear up and come down on the dog's back. We are not responsible for that.
