The Rose Park Cozy Cottage Guest Suite has been freshly updated with new carpeting, curated wall adornments, an electric fireplace and Mikasa dishware. The space is a beautifully appointed daylight basement suite, conveniently located within walking distance of U of M & Downtown, with shopping, parks, restaurants, and concert venues all close by. My place is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, families and business travellers. The space The accommodations feature a comfortable queen bed in the master bedroom. The kitchen comes fully-equipped for preparing meals at home. A dining area with seating for four connects to the kitchen. The living area has a L shaped, chenille couch for enjoying movies, reading or conversing. The suite is equipped with a work station for guests needing to work remotely including high speed WIFI internet. The yard is fully fenced and has a relaxing seating area. Guest access The suite is accessed via a separate entrance at the back of the property. The parking pad is off the alley and easily accommodates two vehicles. Other things to note YOUNG CHILDREN - Our home is not set up for very young children(1-5). There are fragile and breakable items located in areas little ones can access. There are also other hazards like stairs that may pose a safety risk to small children. STAIRS - For those with accessibility issues please be advised that there is a flight of stairs leading from the entrance down to the suite. LAUNDRY - We currently do not have a washer/dryer in the suite but a wonderful laundromat (The Green Hanger) is located within a mile. LONG TERM STAYS - We limit the initial rental period to 28 days and block the schedule beyond that. This gives guests the opportunity to see if the suite is a good fit, then decide, after the first week, to rebook the following month(s), week(s), or stick with their original checkout. - Discounts are made for monthly(28 nights) and weekly stays but our rates are based on the short term rental market and fluctuate depending on the time of year. - There are two options with sheets and towels. We can provide both and have them exchanged every two weeks or you can bring your own and receive a discount of $25 per week. - The suite will be cleaned by our cleaners every 28 days and at the end of your stay. If you would like additional cleans they can be provided at your expense. - A roughly one week stock of general supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo etc) are provided at the beginning of your stay and you will be responsible for providing any additional supplies for the duration of your stay.
