GET 10% OFF WEEKLY STAY!! The 1924 Craftsman cottage has an open floor plan, restored original wood floors and lots of window light. Located on large, private lot walking distance to the Mississippi, riverfront park, downtown Marquette and Casino Queen. Cottage has one bedroom with king bed, main floor sleeping area with 2 twin beds and a full bathroom. There's a furnished front porch and private patio with picnic table and dining set in the back yard. Smart TV, 5G WIFI, charcoal grill, W/D. There is one bedroom with a new king-size bed, a renovated full bathroom with tub-shower and a second main floor sleeping area with two twin beds in the open living area. The open living area has a full size sofa, armchairs and smart TV for use with your steaming accounts. The cottage has 5G wifi throughout, central air conditioning and heat, and comes fully furnished with washer-dryer, bedding and towels. Full kitchen includes microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, teapot, pots & pans, dishes, cooking utensils, salt/pepper, olive oil and vacuum cleaner. Hand soap, dish soap and bath soap are provided. Washer, dryer, detergent, iron and ironing board are available in the basement. Other amenities include hair dryer, books and games. The cottage does not have a landline telephone. Our large lot is very private, with a dining set on the pleasant fenced-in patio, lounge chairs, additional picnic table, new charcoal grill with tools (charcoal not provided), two large side yards, and a basketball hoop on the main driveway (basketball provided). Ample room for parking a boat or RV in driveway. Guests have full access to the cottage with lockbox for self-check in and use of unfinished basement, main level yard area and driveway.  The in-ground pool, pool house, garage, outbuildings, upper lawn area and one locked kitchen cabinet are closed and not available to guests.  Discount available for stays of 7 or more nights. Contact host for multi-week or off-season rentals. Rules & Regulations: *No parties or outside guests are allowed. *No pets, smoking, firearms, fireworks or illegal activities allowed on property. *Outbuildings and areas noted are off limits to guests: pool, pool house, garage, outbuildings, upper lawn and one kitchen cabinet. At checkout: *Lock the doors. Return all keys to the lockbox and lock it. There is a $25 charge per lost key. *Leave the property neat and tidy, floors broom-clean. *Remove all personal items including everything from the refrigerator/freezer and place trash/recycling in bins by gargage. *Remove bedding (except mattress protector/pad), and leave all used towels by washer/dryer or in the bathtub. Leave quilts, shams, any used blankets and extra pillows on the bed. Guests have access to the entire house including unfinished basement with washer/dryer, iron/ironing board and an additional toilet. Driveway has ample parking for additional cars or boat/RV. The in-ground pool, pool house, garage, outbuildings, upper lawn area and one locked kitchen cabinet are closed and not available to guests. Never leave children unattended in the pool area and do not walk on pool safety cover or attempt to enter/open the locked pool safety fence. Owners of the property assume no liability for any injuries that occur on the closed areas of the property. Host is available by phone or text. Local managers are available as needed. A lockbox allows self-check in. Things to do nearby • We are located in a residential area of Marquette, within 3 blocks of a neighborhood ballpark and playground, a 5-minute walk to the river front park and casino, and a 10-minute walk to downtown Marquette. •There is a boat ramp river access and marina in Marquette just minutes from the property, and another less than 2 miles away in McGregor.  • Marquette Main Street offers a large antique mall, depot museum, winery and the Marquette–Joliet Bridge crossing to Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.   •The Marquette-Mcgregor-Prairie du Chien historical areas boast boating, fishing, antique shopping, bluff views, wine tasting and hiking.  •Among these popular visitor sites are:  Eagles Landing Winery (North Street Marquette) Effigy Mounds National Monument, U.S. National Park Service (3 miles) Pikes Peak State Park (3 miles) The Villa Louis National Historic Landmark (4 miles) Wyalusing State Park in Wisconsin (15 miles) Prairie du Chien, Decorah, Elkader, Waukon, Lansing and Harpers Ferry are only a short drive.   The Great River Road and Yellow River Forest provide nearby biking, canoeing and hiking opportunities. The closest grocery stores are about 10 minutes away in Prairie du Chien (Piggly Wiggly, Aldi, Walmart). For dining out, I highly recommend Cafe McGregor for breakfast, Simply Cafe (Prairie du Chien) for lunch, Jones' Black Angus (Prairie du Chien) for dinner and of course, Pete's Hamburgers (Prairie du Chien) for anytime you can get one!
