Travel: Therapy
Description
This is what happens when a realtor and an expressive-therapist make a vacation rental. You get a modest, centrally located apartment with little things to help you de-stress, have fun and connect. 5 minutes from Logan Intl. Airport. Ten minutes to the train, and public transport. Level-2 EV charger. Fun and diverse neighborhood with lots of restaurants, bars and social attractions. This cozy apartment rejuvenates. We hope you leave a little more relaxed, recharged and and a little bit happier. The space Set on Eagle Hill, in historic East Boston, this one and-a-half bedroom apartment amidst 3 and 4 story buildings is in a bustling working class neighborhood. The apartment is bright, clean and comfortable. Stainless steel appliances, microwave, and upgraded lighting. This 791 square foot (73 square meter) apartment is a bit small but has a good layout and can accommodate a party of four. The second or half-bedroom is extremely small and has a twin bunk bed. But the beds and linens are comfortable and good quality. The deck is for your own private use, but not private in the sense that the neighbors can definitely see you. We hope and expect you to have a good nights sleep and be well fed. The kitchen has all the basic tools you need to make a meal. Guest access Parking is on the street and there isn't any included with the apartment. Weekends are fine, but weeknights are reserved for resident sticker parking. Having that said, parking on our block isn't too bad. You can usually find a spot, except late on weekend nights can be a little bit more challenging. If we ever can't find a spot in front of the house, we park at the Shaw's Supermarket, 2 blocks away, and then go get the car in the morning when spots in front of the house open up. But parking there is at your own risk. I should note that we can't be held responsible for getting a ticket or towed, or anything like that. The Spot Hero app has local parking spot options that are pretty affordable. There are paid Airport parking options pretty close by. But you can walk, Uber/taxi or take public transport from the paid parking lots, as we're only 5 minutes from Logan Aiirport. Once you're here, you don't need a vehicle. You can get most anywhere you need by walking, public transport or Uber/taxi. A free car charger can possibly be made available for guests with electric vehicles, but advanced notice is required. Guests have access to the small back deck which is of exclusive use of the guest. Guests arriving prior to the check-in time of 4pm, may leave their luggage in the common area hallway. Inquire for further details. Other things to note Parking in this area can be challenging, especially during peak times. The earlier you arrive, the better your chances of finding a free spot nearby. For convenience, there are secure paid parking options available through the SpotHero app. Like much of the Boston area, parking is limited, so if you can avoid bringing a car, you’ll likely have an easier stay. Public transportation, rideshares (Uber/Lyft), and taxis are all convenient and plentiful alternatives. We do provide air-conditioning window units in the primary bedroom and the living room. They are only available in the warm months and may not be installed in the spring and fall. If this is of high importance to you, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate. Although we have good sound insulation, it is an old building with other apartments on each side, so you may hear the neighbors from time to time. The stairs to enter this 150 year old building are a bit steep. This is a dense urban neighborhood near the airport, so you should expect sounds from planes, trains, automobiles and boats.
