Great jump-off spot to explore NYC! We have created this urban lodging with our international families and friends in mind, and now we are ready to open it to the Airbnb community! Thoughtfully restored historic house in the vibrant and safe area of Jersey City with the most convenient commute to NYC - just 20min to Lower Manhattan! This brand-new apartment is the perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and style, making it an ideal choice for couples and families! Free parking on premises! The space The apartment is on the ground floor of a historic brick house from the 1890s that we meticulously restored to its original beauty last year. We live upstairs in the duplex and are always glad to help our guests with any requests! The apartment was thoughtfully equipped and decorated with good-quality appliances and furniture. The collection of curated and original art was sourced from local artists and NYC stoop sales! Our house is centrally located in Jersey City's hidden gem, Hilltop. It is just a 7-minute straight walk to the JSQ Path station. The organic supermarket and the pharmacy also just 7 min walk from our place on your way from the JSQ path station. The apartment is comfortable for a family with kids (the portable crib/stroller/feeding chair is available upon request) or a group of friends. We have a very comfortable Australian sofa bed (queen size) from Koala in the living room that “might be cozier than your normal bed.” The living room and the bedroom are separated by a long hallway to give everyone enough privacy. Transportation to Manhattan: -By Car: We are just 3 miles away from Manhattan Soho district (15-30 minutes depending on traffic) -Public Transportation: 8 min walk to JSQ Path station, where you can take trains to NYC Manhattan. Only three stops (15 min) to WTC/Freedom Tower (Financial district) or eight stops to 33rd street (Midtown) Airports: -Newark (EWR): About 7 miles, 20 min drive or 40 min by public transport, Uber/Lyft - $25 -35 -John F. Kennedy (JFK) - 20 miles , 1 hour drive, Uber/ Lyft - $90 - $110 -Laguardia (LGA) - 12 miles , 45 min , Uber/Lyft $80- $90 Guest access Guests have an access to the full apartment, including the laundry room. There is a keyless lock to access the apartment Other things to note Free parking in our driveway for standard size cars ONLY, no extra large SUV or trucks. My apartment is very kids friendly!
