This surf themed retreat includes AC, WiFi, onsite access to an outdoor pool, hot tub, an oceanfront picnic area with gas grills, and free parking for one car. The Kona trolley bus stop is located just outside the complex. It is only 1 mile to Magic Sands Beach Park and 2 miles to the heart of Kona town. The space The Surf Shack is part of Kona Bali Kai, a condominium complex with multiple buildings on the ocean (makai) and mountain (mauka) sides of Alii Drive, a great pool and hot tub, outdoor BBQ areas, and access to Banyans Beach, which is a local favorite for surf and viewing Kona’s spectacular sunsets. The Surf Shack is located on the first floor in one of the mauka buildings (across the street from the ocean), away from traffic noise. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and a couch that turns into a full size bed in the living room. A queen size air mattress is also available. There are linens and pillows for all beds along with extra blankets. There are 2 TVs - one in the bedroom and one in the living room and a window AC unit in the living room. The kitchen is equipped with a full sized stove, refrigerator, microwave, electric coffee pot, toaster, electric kettle, plates, silverware, bowls, mugs, glasses, cooking utensils, and more. A washer and dryer and laundry detergent are available in the condo for your use. The bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There are microfiber beach towels, four beach chairs, and a cooler. Enjoy a cup of coffee or a drink on the back lanai furnished with comfortable chairs and roll down blinds to block any unwanted sun.
