The Volcano Cabins are located just outside Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. There are two A-frame cabins on site, each is self contained with its own loft bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, laundry and a private deck. In addition, there is a shared deck between the two cabins with a hot tub and BBQ. STVR 19-361296 The space The Volcano cabins are located just outside Hawaii Volcanoes National Park along what use to be the old access road to the Park. These two A-frame cabins are situated on a two acre parcel with ohia trees, redwoods, giant ferns, kahili ginger, and many other interesting plants. There are spectacular views of both Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea from the property. Each cabin is self contained with its own loft bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen. Both units have their own laundry and private decks. The shared deck has a hot tub. These two cabins named Palila and Nene can be rented separately or together depending on your party size. Palila can sleep six and Nene can sleep four. The cabin is located at the summit of kilauea volcano so we suggest bringing a warm pair of clothes as the cabins are located at 4,000 ft elevation. Guest access Ten minute drive to Hawaii Volcanos National Park and the town of Volcano. Thirty minutes to Punalu'u Black Sand Beach. Forty-five minutes to Hilo and the airport.
