The Lilikoi ia a large 2-bedroom suite that is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy Hawaii in it's natural form. You will enjoy your own two bedroom suite. These bedrooms are large. Each is over 150 sq/ft with 9 foot ceilings. You enter the unit from your own private entrance. The first bedroom that contains a queen bed. This room has a microwave, mini-fridge, coffee pot(coffee provided), hot water boiler and all of your dinnerware needs (real, not plastic). The second bedroom. This room features an extremely comfortable queen sized bed and a flat screen TV with high speed Spectrum TV/internet. You can even enjoy your personal streaming accounts on the Roku device. It also has a writing desk with a chair. A perfect place to sit and write out your postcards while looking out the large window into the natural Hawaiian landscape.. Both bedrooms have two large windows to look outside. This unit has a large private bathroom. Enjoy the dual sink vanity with large mirror. You can choose to bathe in the tub/shower, or in the separate walk-in shower. The bathroom has three head high windows (still extremely private) that look out to the back yard that shows beautiful Hawaii in it's natural form. They are also provide great ventilation. Corona Virus (COVID-19): In an effort to protect our guests and slow the spread of Corona Virus. We follow all guidance as provided by the CDC. There is a separate lanai for you to enjoy the beautiful sun or stars, and feel the cool breeze of the Tradewinds. Although there is no access to a formal kitchen, you will have a microwave, mini-fridge, coffee pot, hot water boiler and all the dinnerware right in your room. You will also have access to the gas grill, countertop oven and stove burners which are available for cooking outdoor. I'm happy to be social, but I know what it's like to having someone around when all you want is to relax and be left alone. Always feel free to tell me to get lost. I would never be offended!! :) There are so many amazing things to do in this area of the island. It is a very convenient 25 minute drive from the Hilo Airport and downtown Hilo. The suite is very close to the trailhead that leads hikers to beautiful and secluded Shipman's Beach. Explore the nearby towns of Kea'au, Pahoa, and Volcano Village for shopping and local delights, or experience Akaka Falls, Rainbow Falls, Boiling Pots, and Lava Tree state Parks. Our property is accessible from very well maintained Hawaiian Paradise Park community roads. Property was built 2017 with high end finishes. Main house is owner occupied by myself and three very friendly and happy dogs. Smoking is only permitted on the outside lanai. This suite sleeps four people very comfortably. We also have a separate Ohana unit available for rent. This is an Eco-Friendly property. All shower products and laundry are organic, biodegradable, vegan and cruelty free. Once covid has subsided, I will switch back to more green friendly cleaning solution. 42 inch flat screen TV with Spectrum cable and dependable high speed internet is provided for your enjoyment. No pets or parties allowed. This is a large jack and jill style setup. You enter through your private entrance into the first bedroom. The second large bedroom is accessed through the spacious bathroom. The air condition available is a portable unit on wheels. Due to the high electricity costs, it comes with a $15 per day charge. Unlike many properties in the area, we have a well (not catchment). Once pumped to the surface, it is filtered through solid and UV filtration. That means, our water is not only safe to drink, it’s some of the most delicious water I’ve had anywhere.
