Can Be Damp! Anyone with allergies may want to reconsider as the dampness can bring mildew during the steady rains, though there is a dehumidifier. There is a King Size Memory Foam Bed in the Master and a Full in the Loft Bedroom and Cable TV in Living Room & Master Bedroom. Full Bath Main Level and a "throne" and corner sink on upper level for middle of the night business. WARNING: If you want Modern, Don't Book This!!! The kitchen is very well equipped, right down to a coffee bean grinder and a French Press as well as a regular coffee pot. Gas stove, though oven does not work; therefore we have an oversized toaster oven big enough to roast a small chicken! There is a wood burning stove. Wood is provided for your stay. The entire Village of Volcano gets their water by catchment tanks in each yard. As we are in the middle of a Rain Forest and these tanks are not hermetically sealed, and can't be, we therefore supply bottled water to insure good health for anything you may ingest, like water for making coffee, brushing teeth, steaming veggies and the like. Some may find this inconvenient but this is part village life in Volcano, and there is always plenty of bottled water at your service! This is a NO SMOKING Environment. We are conscientious about water conservation due to the catch systems, but there is plenty in the tank to be able to shower and handle daily needs. A few good restaurants nearby as well as a general store right across the road! With a mile of the National Park, hiking opportunities R endless. There are also a few wonderful art galleries, including Volcano Garden Arts which serves lunch at Cafe Ono and sit in the beautiful sculpture lined garden. Minimum at Christmas is 10 days. TAT#W(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) Guest access Entire Home Other things to note Again, due to the house sitting in the middle of a rainforest, anyone with allergies or who may be compromised in any manner, should be very careful about booking in this area due to the dampness and, at times, vog from the active volcano a mile away. Others come just for these features! Registration Details STVR 19-366308 NUC 19-1908
