Do not feed the fish or the feral cats. If the cottage feels damp because it has been raining a lot, there is a space heater that warms the place up nicely. Any questions, don't hesitate to write or call. Quiet hours are from 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., during which time the noise should not unreasonably disturb the neighbors. Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area. Guest vehicles shall be parked in the designated onsite parking area. This rental shall not be used for commercial purposes. Guests have the cottage to themselves and one parking space. We live between California and Hawaii so we may or may not be on island when you arrive but are always available by phone, text & email. If you can not reach us, Virginia, our housekeeper/property manager lives near by and can usually solve any problem you may have. Her phone number is list in the booklet on the table. The cottage is on a small dead end road, usually quiet, but very close to town. You can walk up to town but it is a little hilly. It is best to have a car if you really want to see the whole island. Otherwise, there is a bus that goes to Kona and Hilo. The fare is $2. Tours can be arranged, including bike rentals. Don't feed the stray cat. It seems to have become a permanent resident. Please do not let it into the cottage or on to the porch.
