Spacious rainforest home in Volcano

Welcome to our lovely home in the rainforest. We are located 2 miles from the entrance to Volcanoes National Park. This is a three bedroom, two bathroom house that sits at the front of a beautifully landscaped half acre lot. Enjoy a full kitchen, wood burning fireplace, wifi, cable TV, lots of lights and windows, and a large soaking tub. While we welcome families and children, please note that the house is not childproofed. TAX# TA-055-799-0912-01 The space Our home sits at the front of a half acre of Mauna Loa Estates in Volcano Village. We are surrounded by native birds, hapu'u ferns, and just minutes from the Volcanoes National Park. TAX# TA-055-799-0912-01 Guest access The house shares a driveway with the home in the back half of the property, however there is plenty of space between the two that you don't even realize it's there. We do ask that you park completely in the 2 car carport as not to block the driveway and access. TAX# TA-055-799-0912-01 Other things to note Our water catchment system allows for clean rainforest water that is filtered into the home, for use. However we DO NOT recommend drinking the water. Also please conserve water. We do not provide wood for the fireplace or laundry detergent. However, it can be purchased at the Volcano Store in the village, or at Safeway Supermarket or Walmart in Hilo. We have a large whirlpool tub that is great for a soak after hiking or a long day travelling, please be aware though that if it is filled, you will need to give the water heater some time to refill before the next person showers (usually about 20-30 minutes). We have a washer that you are welcome to use, however we DO NOT have a working dryer for guest usage. TAX# TA-055-799-0912-01
