I'm also a quick 30 minute drive from the Hawaii Volcano national park. Im also a 5 minute drive to the most beautiful trails along the ocean. At the end of my road is Shipmans trailhead that will take you down an ancient Hawaiian path where Hawaiian used to live. You can see their original stone walls still set up as you hike down to shipmans beach. A sapphire lagoon filled with sea turtles and perfect for snorkeling. The volcano park is a short 30 minute drive away and there you can find the Volcano Kiluea and see all its ever changing activitiy. The trails that surround the Volcano are alive and filled with all the volcano energy that the park offer. Hilo town is a short 15 minute drive for all of your shopping needs.
