There are many great hikes to choose from around here. - We have the fastest internet available in our area, 1 gigabit fiberoptic. - AT&T and T-Mobile work here. We also have a cell phone booster for those that want to stay in touch or if you prefer you can just as easily be unplugged, as this is rural Hawaii. - International travel plug adapter on hand just in case. - Water is limited to the catchment tank on-site. Please use sparingly, especially if it does not rain during your stay. Buy drinking water. - At night, bugs are attracted to lights, so keep the doors and windows closed. We live in the tropics and have done all we can to mitigate pests, but you will see geckos, mosquitoes, beetles, ants and hear the Coqui frogs at night. - We have cans in the carport to sort your rubbish for the transfer station located down the road with a trash shoot. - The hammocks, chaise, sofa and small appliances on the lanais get exposed to the weather, which can be wet if stormy outside.
