Charming Restored Cottage on the way to Nauset

The Summer House is our totally restored, classic Cape Cod cottage. Originally built in 1941, our home has been tastefully renovated and has all you need for a memorable Cape Cod vacation. Our vintage cottage was lovingly restored with authentic beadboard ceilings and shiplap wallboards, all painted white for a clean and bright feeling. The original pine floors were refinished and left their natural color which gives the cottage a unique and inviting warmth and character. The space The Summer House has a bright and airy living area which is open to the vintage kitchen and roomy screened porch so that everyone has room to spread out but still feel connected. The light filled and cheery cottage kitchen is equipped with all you need for your stay and has french doors that open onto the inviting screened porch for dining and relaxing. Each bedroom space has its own unique character and furnishings. The master suite has a vaulted shiplap ceiling, queen brass bed, cable tv, large ceiling fan, walk-in closet and a very private, sunny master bath, with privacy wall and soaking tub. The front bedroom has an antique double bed, a large dresser and original, painted pine floors. The porch bedroom has twin beds, vaulted beadboard ceiling, exposed rafters and large windows that open onto the screened porch. We provide pillows and blankets. Guests are responsible to bring their own bed linens and towels. For special circumstances, arrangements can be made for these items to be provided for an additional charge. Our cottage is on a quiet street, has a roomy yard for games and abuts a wooded area which is a habitat for birds and other wildlife. Guest access Entire home and ample yard around our home is available to guests. Other things to note Summer rentals are Saturday to Saturday. Guests are responsible to bring their own sheets and towels. Pillows and bedspreads are provided. We do not have a washer and dryer, but if needed there is a laundromat 5 minutes away.
