Amazing location on a dead end street in the Meadow with walking trails and golf close by in the summer, and nordic ski trails out the door in the winter. 10 minutes drive to Big Sky resort, a few minutes to Town Center and a 10 min walk to Meadow Village. You might want to stay forever. The space We built this home for our family as an energy efficient sustainable home to enjoy and which we share with our friends and guests and live here when not traveling. Enjoy the comfort of radiant heating in every floor and even automatically tinting windows. It has a slightly more modern feel than most Big Sky houses but was designed to feel wonderful with two people or 10. We hope you will enjoy it too. Kitchen, dining room, and living room: Together they create a large connected open space to relax or entertain. Open space kitchen with over-sized island that seats six. Kitchen is stocked with all appliances for foodie visitors: juicer, blender, air fryer, instant pot, coffee maker, aeropress, waffle maker and more. Fully stocked spice drawer and tea drawer. Dining room and kitchen make enjoying meals together easy with beautiful views. The living room has majestic unobstructed views of Lone mountain through floor to ceiling windows. The windows automatically tint as the sun heads west to allow enjoying the view without being blinded. Benches in the living room lookup at the dome skylight that defines the center of the round house. For families we have lots of games, puzzles, legos, magna tiles, books, and other entertainment. Music/Tv room: Next to the dining room is a connected music/tv room with a comfortable oversized couch and a projector onto a 106" retractable screen. Netflix and Disney+ are available for free. We leave some of our musical instruments, piano and guitar and electronic drum set for those who might want to play. Play room: Next to the music/tv room is a play room that we built to let our kids play or let out the inner child in all of us. The room has removable/adjustable hanging silk swings that are designed to hold adults, padded floors and a space to play, do yoga, or the room can serve as an extra sleeping area with a comfortable blow up queen mattress if requested. Please play in the room at your own risk. Entryway and mudroom: A large mudroom space with ski racks, boot/glove warmers, hooks and lockers to store all your clothes that go on and off all the time in the mountains. Getting in and out of the house comfortably is easy. We also have a tower garden growing fresh lettuce and produce which you are welcome to cut some off of to enjoy (not always available; depends on planting cycle) :) Hot Tub seats 4-5 comfortably with a beautiful view of Lone mountain. Note: the round hot tub advertises being for 6 adults, but we have found it is most comfortable with 4 adults. A springfree trampoline sits right outside to jump on in winter (yes! Just shovel the snow and use rubber sole boots, our kids jump all the time) or summer especially for kids. Please jump at your own risk. Bedrooms and bathrooms: 2 full ensuite bedrooms so friends don’t have to decide who gets the ‘nice’ bedroom, 2 other comfortable bedrooms. Downstairs main bedroom has a king bed, closet and a full bathroom. The over-sized shower has three shower heads including a rain shower and is also a steam shower for spa-like enjoyment. You can steam and drizzle cool water from the rain shower at the same time. The toilet has an electric bidet with a seat warmer. Upstairs main bedroom has a king bed and full bathroom, which has all the same amenities, large steam shower with three shower heads and bidet seat warming toilet. Upstairs bedroom with a queen bed, closet and electric standing desk. The desk has views of Lone mountain and functions as an office. Upstairs bedroom with two full beds and drawers offer additional sleeping space. Upstairs bathroom with a beautifully tiled bathtub/shower and two sinks. Downstairs powder bathroom in back of house for privacy. ***NO SMOKING in or around the home allowed. If you want to smoke, this isn’t the home for you!*** Guest access Full access to the entire house and outdoor space including hot tub and trampoline. House manual on site with all the important information. Other things to note We are a family, raising our kids in Big Sky. We love to travel and share our home with other travelers wanting to experience the magic of Big Sky. We have renters who live in an apartment above the garage. They have a separate private entrance and keep to themselves - they help care for the property as needed. Driveway parking is shared with them, however you will have dedicated space for 3-4 vehicles parking on the right side of driveway. ***NO SMOKING in or around the home at any time***
