This historic property was originally built by Captain James Henry Swift in approximately 1844. The entire property has a historic feel, with a grand staircase and a well-preserved interior. You will truly enjoy the comfort of modern amenities with old world charm. The space You have a private entrance with access to a lockbox which allows you to come and go as you wish. Once through the door, a staircase leads you to your private bedroom and bathroom. The entrance area has a large coat rack and off of that a private living room and dining room for relaxing. There is plenty of off street parking available. Guest access You have access to a private bedroom, bathroom, living room and dining room. During your stay Once you have arrived, we will have information on how to keep in touch if needed. Other things to note Our home is 15 minutes away from the New Bedford Harbor. Seastreak operates a ferry from New Bedford Harbor to Vineyard Haven in Martha’s Vineyard in 50 minutes. We are 30 minutes away from Buzzards Bay and Newport RI. MBTA’s South Coast Rail Trains available from New Bedford to Boston. Parking at Church Street and Whale Tooth in New Bedford. To buy tickets for the Fall River/ New Bedford Rail line do so on the mTicket app or you can purchase tickets at the station.
