Spread out in this centrally-located (downtown/urban) home built in the 1800s - where each room has been curated in a timeless tone, with relaxation and comfort in mind. Convenient to FSU, Game On Sports Complex, Fitchburg Art Museum, the commuter rail to Boston, Applewild School, Wachusett Mountain, Great Wolf Lodge etc. The space This is a little gem of a home, built in the 1840s and is being lovingly restored over time. Not new construction or modern by any means and has been a comfy and CLEAN home for individuals to enjoy who need to pass thru the area. Dining room seats 4, with two extra chairs available. Half-bathroom on the first floor and a full bathroom on the 2nd floor. The shower/tub combo is under a **slanted** ceiling (please see pics). For taller guests, a bench is provided if sitting provides more comfort. The kitchenette has a full refrigerator, hot plate, microwave and coffee maker. Sorry, **no oven** however, if you are staying 1 week or more, an oven can be made available! Complimentary water, coffee and a few other staples are included. Workspace on the 2nd floor landing is open concept. There is one TV located in the living room. *Many guests who stay at this FITCHBURG home are visiting the immediate area (e.g. City of Fitchburg, Worcester etc.). Some guests have attended concerts in Mansfield or Boston, weddings in Westminster or Groton. Some guests are stopping over on their way to or from NH/Maine/Canada. Guests select the house for different reasons but I encourage everyone to map the area to see how far/close Fitchburg is to where they need to be. *Sorry, unregistered/unaccounted for guests, events/gatherings, pets, or exceeding the occupancy limits are strictly prohibited. Contact me if you have greater than 6 guests to discuss options. *Smoking is not permitted inside the property. *Parking for up to 3 cars in driveway but street parking is available on abutting street. *For your safety, use of the fireplace is strictly prohibited. *Exterior security cameras. *Shoe-free home, but if shoes are necessary, shoe covers are provided. ***Renovating this home from the 1840s has been a labor of love. Being an older home, it might not be for everyone as it has quirks/personality. Ha. I do my best to be as explicit as I can in the description and value the reviews received. The sunroom off the kitchen is used for storage and guests do not have access to it. Other things to note Steam radiators provide heating in winter and standing and window ACs provide cooling in summer. 10% discount available if booking 1 bedroom ONLY.
