Just 6 miles from Great Barrington's shops, restaurants, and art scene, this 2-bedroom, 1-bath cottage is close to all the Berkshire's excitement, yet far enough for high-quality rest and relaxation. Hike the Appalachian Trail in the summer, ski Butternut Basin during the winter, or enjoy the fall colors from the home's charming deck - and don't forget the amazing stargazing! The space Our cottage is ideal for a couple although may accommodate four. Bedroom one has a king size adjustable bed. Bedroom two (updated 9/25/24) has a queen size adjustable bed. We are located on Lake Buel with direct access to the lake. The yard is fenced. We have a large private dock installed mid-May and removed mid-October. There are two single kayaks, one double kayak, a canoe and two standup paddle boards. Other things to note We have hosted numerous satisfied guests since 2017 through Evolve Management company. The cottage is updated and like new. Has every thing you need to cook dinners, relax and feels like a home. Owner checks in to make sure you have all the info you need and is accessible if needed. Easy launching of kyacks and paddle boards. Visiting in late August was ideal as the lake is much quieter than in the thick of summer. Hosts are wonderful, responsive with easy communication.
