Welcome to our "BednBunny"- This is a two-bedroom half basement w/a free-roaming bunny, perfect for late arrivals & early departures! Less than 5 minutes from the airport (but not under flight path). Choose from one or both private bedrooms, complete with a bathroom and scenic views in a nice neighborhood. Our family with kids lives upstairs. We keep to ourselves, and the kitchen and common areas are off-limits. There will be some upstairs noise outside of quiet hours. No cleaning fee. The space The price includes access to both rooms. Feel free to use one or both! No check-in time is too late. Guests can relax in two cozy bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs. Since you're right below our living room/dining room area, you will hear household noise during the day and evening when we are home until quiet hours (10 pm to 8 am). The downstairs can be a bit chilly (no separate AC/heat zone downstairs & it runs really hot upstairs). There is a space heater near the white shelves in the common room if needed. Luna, our fluffy lionhead bunny, shares the downstairs with guests. She’s a social little fuzzball who might follow you around, though she’s more into nose boops than being picked up. We do our best to keep things tidy, but occasionally, a tiny ‘bunny bean’ might appear in the common room, and she’s also known to sprinkle some hay confetti —it tends to hitch a ride on her fur since she munches on it all day. If you’d rather have some bunny-free time, we can tuck her into her condo, but be warned: she might stage a dramatic foot-thumping protest while zooming around her ramps. Note: There is a mini fridge for drinks or leftovers but no coffee maker, microwave, etc. For coffee drinkers, we suggest stopping by the Hardtail Cafe a mile down the road in the Grizzly- Harley Davidson Parking lot. It's locally owned and run by a couple. They also have breakfast burritos. Feel free to park anywhere that's open - we do not park in the garage so you don't have to worry about blocking anyone in. Smoking, vaping, and the use of tobacco or marijuana products are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property — this includes inside the home and around the yard or driveway. Guest access The upstairs and backyard are our private spaces. We kindly ask that guests stick to the downstairs area during their stay. Occasionally, we might need to pop downstairs to use the laundry room or tend to Luna but we most likely will not be downstairs at all or even see you during your stay. During your stay We respect your privacy but are here if you need us. With my husband working from home, one of us is almost always around to assist. Other things to note We have a spirited 3-year-old, so you might hear her expressing her tiny but mighty emotions now and then. Generally, though, we're a quiet bunch upstairs. Please Note: Our house is located just outside of Missoula, about a 10-minute drive to the heart of downtown. This location actually offers an advantage for those attending concerts or heading downtown, as you can easily hop onto I-90 and take the exit closest to your destination, avoiding the hassle of in-town traffic, which can get pretty bad. While Big Sky Brewery is within a 25-minute walk or a quick bike ride, all other attractions and destinations will require a short drive. If you don't have a car, you'll need to use Uber or another ride-sharing service to get to dinner and other activities.
