The small town atmosphere provides guests a quiet escape year round. However, the town comes to life during the summer with boating season, fishing, nature parks, and local events. The property has a waterfront view and is located within walking distance of a boat launch, a park, and two popular restaurants. The space The 'Jones Suite' is an exterior motel-styled unit at the Claytonian Inn. The unit has one main room and a small bathroom. The 'Jones Suite' is decorated with a nautical, river theme and is outfitted with a queen bed, daybed, desk, mini fridge, microwave, and a coffee maker. This suite is perfect for a couple or small group traveling to town to take advantage of the activities and unique businesses the local area has to offer. Guest access The property has three exterior 'motel-styled' unit and 'full house' rental. Staying in the 'Jones Suite' you will have access to your unit and patio chairs in front of your unit over looking the river. Free street parking is available. Trailing parking is available upon request. Boat docking is also available in partnership with the local marina with a nightly fee. Other things to note Train tracks - there is a Canadian Pacific Kansas City rail that runs along the river in front of the property. Typically, 5 to 6 trains run a day. The railroad crossing in uncontrolled (no crossing bar) so they sound their horn when going through town. Traffic - the property is located on Main Street so traffic can be busy at times. Public parking can fill up with the local restaurants' guests during meal times.
