Description
Discover tranquility at the Copper Roost, a retreat 4 1/2 miles from Great Falls. Main level in a charming house, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. Enjoy scenic views that were that were occupied by Native Americans and buffalo. Relax and whip up something special from owners fresh eggs (upon request) from their friendly backyard chickens. Unwind on the peaceful decks with freshly roasted local Morning Light Coffee. Ideal for a restful escape or as a base for exploring the surrounding areas of Montana. The space Rule the Roost while you stay in the upper half of this split level home as we do live on the lower level, both with their own private entrances. The big back yard with a swing set is for your use only as well as a barbecue and fire pit area. We are happy to supply the wood ..just ask. Please stay within the boundaries of the fenced yard as the acreage is spoken for. You may spot my husband feeding the chickens in the back yard or the water person checking the meter. My husband and I bake at Morning Light Coffee, so you may see us come and go. Guest access We are 1/4 a mile past mile marker 7 on the left. The sign says Essex Lane going straight, but you will not go straight , stay to the left. You will clearly see the green House with the deck and the Copper roof . You will be using the well defined cut across road unless we specify differently because of rain. There are two parking areas, one on the east side next to the deck and the other in the driveway by the shop...both are ok to use. You will use the keyed entry box on the main door marked 750 which is your private entry. Other things to note We are on a septic, so it's crucial that no bleach or other cleaning products with bleach are not dumped down the drains. We don't provide a washer or dryer, but we can recommend a laundry service that is very reasonable and close to our place. Life on the prairie in Montana inhabits bears, rattle snakes, or racoons, so always be safe and aware of Montana's wildlife. Do enjoy watching the occasional deer, bald eagles, hawks, huns, and plentiful adorable rabbits from a distance.
