The Cajun Cottages are the perfect place to stay with a large group. Whether you’re in town with family or enjoying a week with friends, you are sure to be able to spread out and feel right at home! You will have 3 cottages to enjoy which all connect to a central courtyard in the middle! The largest unit sleeps 10, the middle unit sleeps 6 and the smallest unit sleeps 2. With 3 kitchens, 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms you will find everything you need to enjoy your time in Cajun Country! The space The Cajun Cottages make a very unique, one-of-a-kind stay located in the heart of Lafayette! This listing is for 3 cottages that are made up of 2 L-shaped houses with a courtyard connecting all 3 in the middle. All 3 have been completely renovated and each one has its own style and thoughtful decor and color schemes used throughout. All 3 units have a back door that opens to the central courtyard; friends and family will be staying just steps away. It’s the best of both worlds, everyone can have their own space, but you are also right next door when you want to visit! Cottage 1: The Magnolia Cottage is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath unit that sleeps 10. It is the largest of the 3 and has a dining table that seats 8 and bar stools for 5. The living room and kitchen are large and provide a great gathering space. The laundry closet is located near the dining room. Cottage 2 : The Creole Cottage is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit that sleeps 6. The bedrooms and closets in this unit are small, but quaint. While you won’t have as much bedroom space, the living area and kitchen are very open and large. Great for entertaining with a group! The Laundry room is near the bedrooms. Cottage 3: The Pelican Cottage is a studio that sleeps 2. It has everything you would need with a full kitchen, office space, washer and dryer and lovely bathroom. It is all open and has great space for gathering. It also has a door that connects to The Creole Cottage. This would be an ideal spot for family reunions, wedding groups, sport groups, bachelorette or bachelor gatherings. Located near Johnston and College you will be very close to UL, downtown, shopping, grocery stores and amazing Cajun restaurants are right around the corner! Other things to note The courtyard has string lights, a fire pit and backyard games available. Guests can play corn hole, ladder toss, Spike ball, Yahtzee & a large Jenga.
