Welcome to the "Backwood Bay Bungalow," our cozy home away from home, down the shore! Just 1 mile, or a 15 min walk to the Delaware Bay Beach - known for the best sunsets, or just a quick 15 minute drive to either Cape May or the Wildwood beaches. Spend time outside on the deck, or hanging out in the shade of the back patio, catching some of the areas best birding, and enjoying the sounds of nature in the woods. It's truly the best of both worlds! The space Our 2 bedroom, one bathroom 700 sq foot Bungalow is small, but loaded with everything you and your family needs for a week down the shore. We are nestled in a quiet neighborhood backing the woods. Our home is newly renovated, and has a fully stocked kitchen that has all of the essentials to cook inside, or out. The kitchen, backyard and covered patio provide plenty of space to gather as a group or spend some time alone. The primary bedroom has a queen bed, and the secondary room has a twin over full bunk bed, as well as a pac-n-play for those with littles. A smart TV hangs in the bunk room, as well as in the living room. The sofa in the living room also pulls out into a queen bed if needed. **Sheets and bath towels are included with your stay. We ask that you bring your own beach towels, please. The back covered patio has space to lounge as well as a dining table. There is plenty of green space to play, and farther back you will find a fire pit and small seating area. The shed out back has 4 beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a rolling cooler, as well as 2 life jackets, some fishing gear and beach games available to you. The Bay Beach is free, and 6 beach tags to Cape May are also included with the rental. We are within walking distance of a handful of local coffee shops, restaurants and ice cream parlors. There are plenty of great local eatery's, winery's and breweries within 10-15 minutes as well! Other things to note Fresh linens will be placed at the bottom of each bed prior to your arrival. The Bayshore Sportsman Club is close by, and may be heard during the day.
