Enjoy our courtyard’s hammock and seating areas, or walk to the nearby cafe and shops. The Ticket Booth is ready to take you on your next adventure! The space Located in the center of the quaint town of Grand Coteau, the Train Wreck Inn is the perfect spot to rest your head. Staying in the Ticket Booth means enjoying an open floor plan living space with a vibrant kitchen as the focal point - we think of it as a big piece of art. This space's color palette, combined with the warm lighting, makes guests feel right at home. Don't forget to find time to kick back with some tea or coffee and spin one of our old records while you're here. Mingle in the beautifully landscaped courtyard or hop in the hammock for some quiet reading time in the shade. We have multiple seating areas to enjoy a meal or beverage outside. Take a stroll next door to the cafe or an antique shop. We love the slow roll of our town and can't wait to host you! Guest access The courtyard is open to all guests to enjoy. Parking for one vehicle per Airbnb is available on site on Chatrian St, with additional public street parking on the front side of the motel (on Martin Luther King Dr.) Other things to note Our spaces are historic, compact and efficient, and we love that about them! Choices for layout and items on board were made based upon this. A few quick notes: - Your custom bathroom is a beautiful European style wet bathroom, meaning the shower, toilet and sink are all in one tiled space. See photos for reference. - Keep in mind the Train Wreck Inn is composed of spaces that are historic and quirky. We take pride in their condition and cleanliness, but note that they are actual pieces of history / not brand new. - Kitchens are custom built and fully stocked. We provide an electric kettle and French press + local coffee and tea. (Instructions to use French press and electric stove are included in your Check In Guide. There is also an electric coffee pot in the cabinet if you prefer.) - Bringing kiddos? We are happy to provide an air bed + a highchair and some toys if needed!
