Guest access Lockbox Other things to note RENTAL RULES • Smoking is NOT allowed inside the home or on the patio. Smoking is allowed outside 20 feet away from the house only. Do not leave cigarette butts on the ground. They must be extinguished thoroughly and put in the trash. • People and pets other than those in the Rental Party set forth above are prohibited from being on the property without approval. • The home is privately owned; the homeowner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests expressly assume the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises. The property has uneven ground rocks and many other natural hazards, and the guests and entire guest party members assume all responsibility, knowing such hazards exist. Guests are responsible for maintaining and keeping access and walkways accessible and safe. • EMERGENCY: Call 911 • BEACH RULES: There are floats and beach chairs downstairs that you can take to the beach. Return all chairs and lifejackets to the house when not in use. NO glass bottles or glassware on the waterfront or beach area, and pets must be restrained while on the beach area. • GLASS: Many are barefoot, so do not use glass bottles or glassware outside, on the beach, or on the waterfront. • FIREWORKS: NO Fireworks anywhere, anytime. State law. • BOATING: Guests may use paddle boats and kayaks at the house at their own risk. They will quickly float away. SWIMMING Swim at your own risk. Cape Cod ponds and lakes have higher-than-normal levels of salmonella bacteria in fresh waters. PICK season for salmonella is the End of June, July, and August. Water is being tested weekly, and test results will be shared with the guests. Water test results on levels of salmonella bacteria may not be a reason for cancelation. • Personal or rental boats are NOT allowed without prior approval. This is to explain rights of way, storage, and protection of landscaping, neighbors' property lines, and the beach. • LIFE VESTS: Adult and child life vests are available. • HEAT THERMOSTAT: The rental rate is based on a home temperature setting no higher than 72 degrees F. Please be conservative and turn it down when you leave and during the night. • Windows: Please do not open windows. Due to high humidity levels, gorgeous wall woodwork is expanding and getting damaged. • KITCHEN: There is an electric fry pan, Keurig, an additional Coffee maker, blender, microwave, and dishwasher. You will also find plates, flatware, pots and pans, baking dishes, and muffin pans. There is an extra refrigerator downstairs. If you use it, please unplug, clean, and leave the doors open when you depart. Guest(s) are welcome to use any food items unless marked otherwise. Limited essentials such as shampoo, conditioner, paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and detergent will be available. • INTERNET and CABLE: TV cable and wireless internet. Two SMART TV’s are available: Basic cable and Netflix. • DRINKING WATER: The refrigerator has filtered water and ice dispenser. • HOUSEKEEPING: Please leave the home as you found it. While limited bedding and towels are included, you might consider bringing your own. Cleaning supplies are available. • TRASH:. All trash must be in plastic bags and put in barrels. • LINENS: Clean sheets will be left on each bed. • DEPARTURE: You are asked to leave the home clean and lock the house before you leave. Garbage must be bagged in plastic bags and left in a container.
