You may encounter wild chickens with their morning "chats", coqui frogs serenading you at night, and the occasional bark from the neighborhood dogs. Other wildlife like geckos, wild birds, and insects call the island home, as well. The majority stay outdoors, but you might see a Gold Dust Gecko on the lanai, and very rarely, inside the house. These are harmless and fascinating creatures. If you see one indoors and prefer it outside, just let me know and I'll happily relocate it for you. The Uluhe House utilizes a rainwater catchment system with multi-level filters and UV treatment for a sustainable island experience.
