Welcome to the Retreat at Martin Creek on Lake Hartwell. This must see cottage features a deep water dock on a quiet cove conveniently located less than 15 minutes to Clemson. Enjoy sunrises and sunsets from the dock, hot tub or on the porch - a Clemson orange sunset cannot be beaten. The space With 2,250 square feet, 4 Bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and 2 living spaces, you will have plenty of space to relax and enjoy all this home has to offer. Enjoy apps and drinks on the screened in back porch and relax in the hot tub overlooking the lake. There is a short sloped pathway to the floating dock. The house is located a short distance from Martin Creek Boat landing - you can leave your boat at the private dock. You can enjoy many water sports and fishing from this dock - kayaks and a paddle board are provided. INDOOR GAMES Shuffle board, table top football, Jenga, assorted board games PATH TO DOCK Easy slopped 90’ stepping stone walk way to the dock DOCK Partially covered dock with 4x black fold-up chairs BOAT DOCKING Our boat stays in the lift at all times but you are welcome to tie up to the side of the dock WATER DEPTH As of August 9, 2026 we have 8 feet of water depth at the end of our dock. We typically have between around 3 feet in the winter and 10 feet in the summer. We also have the ability to push our dock out if needed, but we typically don’t. PARKING there is enough parking for 3 vehicles at the bottom of the driveway near the house TRUCK / TRAILER We have room for a truck & trailer but recommend backing down the driveway instead of trying to back up the driveway TRASH PCK UP Trash pick up is on Thursday in the morning. LATE CHECK IN (after 8PM): May be possible, but please let us know in advance to ensure we can accommodate / offer additional support LATE CHECK OUT / EXTENDING YOUR STAY: Extending your check-out past 10am will affect our ability to have the house ready for 4pm check-in. We can alway look to see if the following night is available for rent if you would like to extend your stay to the following day at 10am. Book today!
