Guest access Guests will have private access to the entire second-floor apartment, including the bedroom, bathroom, living area, and fully equipped kitchen. For a seamless self-check-in experience, guests will receive their unique door code on the day of arrival and can access the apartment without any interaction with the host. Guests are also welcome to enjoy the shared backyard, which features a pergola and outdoor seating area. A shared laundry room is located in the backyard and is available for guest use. The washers are free, while the dryers are coin-operated. Laundry facilities are shared with other residents of the property. There is plenty of free street parking available directly in front of the property. In addition, one off-street parking space is available in front of the house, which is shared with other tenants of the building and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that the apartment is located on the second floor and is accessible by stairs. Other things to note Smoking is prohibited inside of the apartment. Smoking inside will result in fines. Arrival condition: The unit is thoroughly sanitized by our professional cleaning crew before each check-in. It is important that guests report anything that is not in an acceptable condition within one hour of check-in. Anything not reported in that time frame will be deemed your responsibility. The apartment is only suitable for maximum 4 people. Pets allowed. We ask that the pet be potty trained, non destructive and not overly vocal when left alone. Though the home is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before each check-in, please be mindful of our pet policy in case you are allergic as there is always a possibility to find hair which is common in any pet friendly accommodation. The unit features central air conditioning. Window units may be used as supplemental cooling during particularly hot weather or while the central A/C system is being serviced. New Orleans is a subtropical destination which is no stranger to storms. Any electrical outage is not the responsibility of the host and is entirely outside of any person(s) control. Bug and wildlife info: New Orleans is located in a hot and humid environment that is teeming with wildlife, including the creepy crawly kind. Depending on the time of the year and weather conditions, Guests may encounter mosquitoes, bees, gnats, moths, lovebugs, ants, spiders, beetles, roaches, ladybugs, stinkbugs, etc. While we do utilize regular pest control services, we are unable to offer any guarantee against or refunds for the occasional bug that may make it inside. Guests can help by keeping doors closed and disposing of trash and storing food in a responsible manner.
