The owners live on the property in a separate building and are there to accommodate any and all of your needs. Halani is close to beaches (5 minutes and up) and some of the main attractions, such as the Volcano, the Temple @City Of Refuge, Painted Church, Kona Coffee tours, and more. We can help you find surf lessons, horseback rides, manta rays, and dolphin swims. PLEASE READ "SPECIAL TERMS" under "Policies". Guest access You will have access to a large outdoor area with a lawn, BBQ, pool, and hot tub, ping-pong and basketball areas, etc. These amenities are shared only when other guests have booked one of the two rentals on site at Halani. Other things to note SPECIAL TERMS & GOOD TO KNOW: Important, please READ ALL BEFORE you book (!!!) This is a non-smoking unit. You may smoke outside in the area we point out, but you are strictly prohibited from smoking inside or on the porches or balconies! A $500 fee applies if a cigarette smell is detected. Please be aware that there are (friendly) pets on the property, and therefore, it is not suited for individuals who are allergic to or frightened of dogs or cats. This home offers an inside/outside lifestyle, and Hawaii is a tropical environment. Therefore, you will see geckos and (rarely) other harmless critters that you may not be used to. Geckos are cute, and most guests love them, but they also leave droppings here and there. Please come with an awareness that you are going to be in Hawaii, where nature and men commingle more than in the city. We ensure to always have the rental pristine, clean, and all surfaces disinfected before you arrive, but please be prepared that you may need to clean your surfaces more during your stay due to this fact. While children are most welcome, please be aware that they need to be supervised at all times. The pool area and hot tub, balconies, and property boundaries are not especially secured for small children/ toddlers or any individuals with medical or physical issues affecting balance or coordination. We (the owners) and caretaker family live on the property. We are four adults, 1 child, 2 cats, and 1 dog. We are here to accommodate any and all of your needs. The pool, hot tub, and outside lawn with amenities are shared with other guests only during your stay. By booking this property, you agree not to hold the owners responsible for any accidents that result from you or your children using the "Halani" facilities or being on "Halani" property.
