Set on a serene cul-de-sac backing up to conservation marshland, this beautiful home on the Eastham / Orleans line near Rock Harbor is the perfect place to spend a relaxing vacation. The space The house offers ample living spaces – a large comfortable living room, sun-filled family room, spacious dining room, and well-appointed kitchen. It comfortably sleeps 8+. There are two large bedrooms upstairs each with its own bathroom, and two comfortable bedrooms on the main floor that share a full bath. Outside, the large deck is perfect for relaxing or enjoying big summer meals. The patio and screened-in porch offer other charming options to relax. The yard is beautifully landscaped, peaceful and private, with plenty of places to sit or play with kids. For rainy days, there’s a large, inviting playroom and TV area in the basement. Other things to note The location is ideal to enjoy all the glories of the outer-Cape. There are two beaches less than a mile from the house. Lots more beaches within a 10 minute drive (e.g., Nauset, Coast Guard, First Encounter, Skaket). The Cape Cod Bike Trail (which runs from Dennis to Wellfleet) passes right behind the house and is accessible without even riding on a main road. The center of Orleans, which offers a range of restaurants, shops, and cultural amenities, is just 5 minutes away (though it doesn't feel that way). Other favorite spots in the area include Rock Harbor, Great Pond and Wiley Park, Nickerson State Park, and charming Wellfleet and Chatham.
