Our lovely private room^ plus private bath, kitchen access, and free parking on the street in front of the house is on the second floor of our home. In a perfect location to visit nearby campuses of Lawrenceville Prep, Princeton University & Rider University or to hop aboard a train to NYC or Philadelphia. Peaceful neighborhood with many paths for those who love to walk for exercise. The space The light and airy bedroom on the second floor (upstairs) of our home contains a queen size bed, full length mirror, two end tables each with a lamp, area rug, a small corner desk with chair, a comfortable barrel arm chair, and a large closet with shelving unit.  The updated private bathroom is for your use. WiFi is available in the whole house and the garden. This is ideal for the traditional overnight guest or visitor who wishes to eat a quick breakfast and be out and about at work or sightseeing during the day. It is not suited for those who intend to remain in the house during the workday, work from home, or cook all their meals at home. It is not suited for those who do not have activities or work planned outside the house. If you don't like listening to live music, you won't be comfortable since I teach music in the home weekdays and occasional evenings. ^We also have an additional separate listing available in our home on the ground floor. There is a drive through Starbucks at the corner of Gordon Avenue, in front of the Lawrenceville School entrance gate, and a bakery called Gingered Peach! Guest access I don't offer a full breakfast, but I offer coffee (French press or Bialetti espresso). There is a bakery five blocks from the house (Gingered Peach!) and plenty of restaurants. If you are an early riser, you may wish to join me on a nature walk/jog. We have a kitchen fridge, there is usually plenty of room. We do expect that you have activities planned during the day away from the house and that you will eat your lunch elsewhere as our kitchen is not open for lunch. It is open for breakfast and the occasional quick dinner preparation. If you enjoy cooking a lot, this listing is not for you. Maximum guest time in the kitchen is 2 hours per day. You may wish to enjoy the sunshine on the back patio, sit on the front yard relax chairs or dine on the back patio as well. Thank you! During your stay Gene commutes to his office and I work at home in the mornings. I teach music and singing in my home studio in the afternoons and sometimes into the evening. If you are not a music lover, you may not like this listing. I like to chat and am a natural encourager/mentor, but also need time to get my work done. Our children attended a boarding school; one of our sons is a Princeton University alumnus. We so appreciated B&B's when we visited our sons in high school and college. Thus, we welcome students and/or parents who are visiting their children at one of the schools or universities, attending alumni events, going to sporting event weekends, or visiting educational institutions in the area. Other things to note Discounts for longer stays are automatically generated when you enter your dates. I teach music in our home. We lived in NYC for many years and have been in the area a long time. We are glad to share our experience, travel tips, or answer questions about the area when we are able. We also lived in Europe for several years. Can you say Europhile? For those who love to cook or just hang out in the kitchen, we do not offer more kitchen access than 2 hours per day, so if you like to cook all of your own meals and love to spend a lot of time in the kitchen, this is not a listing that will work well for you.
