Less than a mile to Cockle Cove Beach, picture yourself at Rhododendron Cottage with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and two different living areas.  This vacation home is great for families that like to spread out.  The beautiful landscaping and relaxing outdoor area will be the place you spend your time cooking summer meals and enjoying the serenity on this quiet cul-de-sac.  The beach, the bike path and both Harwich and Chatham town centers are just a short drive away. The space What you will notice first as you enter this cute cul-de-sac in the desirable Cockle Cove neighborhood are the mature trees and overflowing rhododendrons. As you walk up the steps to the front door there is small area with two chairs and a small table where you can have your morning coffee and watch the world come alive. Guests love the open living and dining room with hardwood floors. Comfy furniture lends itself to conversation and group bonding time. The natural gas fireplace can be used in the off season. The flat screen TV is perfect for family movie night. The dining area has a long table with 6 chairs with slider access to the back deck and private yard. The sliding doors would be perfect to keep open and let in the cool breezes on a not-so-hot day - however, the home does provide central A/C to keep you cool on hot, summer days. The kitchen has beautiful granite countertops and tall cabinets that go right up to the ceiling You'll find every appliance you need to make meals on those nights you don't explore the tasty cuisine that the Cape has to offer. Fridge, stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker - even a pantry. There's a small den with tile floor that is a cozy spot to catch up with your friends or watch the game on the TV - as long as you are routing for a Boston team! The mudroom has access to the back deck and this is where you'll find the washer and dryer for your convenience. A full bathroom with a tub/shower combo is right before the door to the 2-car garage. You will find all three bedrooms on the upper level. To the right is Bedroom #1 with a King Bed, a desk for remote working, large closets and TV for relaxing at day's end. There is a shared full bathroom in the hallway with glass enclosed shower. Bedroom #2 has a Full Bed and a Twin bed, Bedroom #3 has a twin bunkbed. The back deck and yard is so beautifully landscaped with spring and summer flowers in bloom. The deck will be the place to gather with the gas grill, table with 4 chairs for outdoor dining and the serene view to wind down the day. Don't forget the outdoor shower - a Cape Cod tradition.
