Description

Escape to Your Own Beach Paradise—only 68 Steps to Your Private White Sand Beach. Experience Private Waterfront Living at Our Breathtaking North Truro Beach Cottage. Enjoy breathtaking views of Cape Cod Bay from the top of a beach bluff with a private stairway leading down to a stunning white sand beach. Our cottage is nestled in a pine tree forest with gardens and features a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor patio, and huge deck for spectacular sunset views. There are 3 cozy bedrooms, 2 facing the water and 1 facing the gardens. Enjoy the convenience of a large outdoor stainless steel BBQ, a living room/dining room, and one and a half bathrooms. Please note that linens are not provided, so please bring your own or arrange a local service. Our rental period runs from Saturday at 3 pm to the following Saturday at 11 am, and the cottage accommodates up to six guests. Get ready for an adventure on Bay View Road! Whether you prefer walking, jogging, or biking, you're in for a 1.5-mile treat with nature on both sides. Explore Truro's past and learn about the fascinating history of this charming town. And for an extra dose of entertainment and enrichment, why not stop at some of the best Cape Cod establishments along the way? One must-see destination is Pilgrim Pond Park, where you can witness history come alive. Imagine standing in the very spot where the Pilgrims spent their second night in the new world, way back on November 16, 1620. A plaque commemorates this event and lists the names of the brave Pilgrims who set foot on American soil, including Myles Standish, William Bradford, Stephen Hawkins, and Edward Tilley. Don't miss out on this immersive experience that will transport you back in time! Visit one of the most historic and picturesque lighthouses in the United States! Highland Light Station, aka Cape Cod Light, is nestled in the stunning Cape Cod National Seashore in North Truro. This beacon of light has been guiding ships safely since its establishment in 1797 and is one of the oldest light stations in the country. But wait, there's more! Highland Light has also captured the heart of famous naturalist and author Henry David Thoreau, who visited several times in the 1850s. According to Thoreau, the lighthouse was ''a neat building, in apple-pie order.'' So not only is Highland Light a significant part of American history, but it's also a sight to behold with its well-kept appearance. Add this gem to your must-visit list, and prepare to be amazed! Hey there, wine lovers, are you ready to sip and savor some of the best wine Cape Cod has to offer? Look no further than Truro Vineyards, where we're all about the good stuff! Our vineyard, located on the picturesque Shore Road in Truro, is perfectly situated between the Atlantic Ocean and Cape Cod Bay.
