It's a wonderful home base to explore the charming fishing villages of Scituate & Cohasset and their great restaurants and shops. A short walk to Minot Beach and the architecturally interesting Minot neighborhood. Just 5 minutes to the Commuter rail into Boston and beyond. Well-supplied kitchen and laundry. The ideal spot to unwind and recharge. Available for longer stays. The space Stella Sorelle was built around 1920 as a caretaker's cottage. It is located on a private compound with resident access only. It's quiet, serene and surrounded by trees, grass, marsh & waterways. You will feel like you have escaped to a private estate. The cottage has been newly renovated and is well supplied with comfortable seating areas and a stocked kitchen. The 55" Roku TV and gas fireplace make the living room a cozy place to watch TV, converse or read. The beds are inviting, the bed linens delightful and bath towels thick. You'll find body wash, shampoo/conditioner, hair dryers, lighted magnifying makeup mirrors and makeup towels in both bathrooms. The ensuite master bathroom is new, with heated floors and a charming 1920's vibe. The new backyard deck provides views of the marsh, and becomes a conversation hub with the Adirondacks and firepit nearby. The laundry area is stocked with Tide pods, dryer sheets and other laundry essentials. Perfect for a weekend get-away or a month long retreat. This cottage is one of a trio of homes we have available at the Salt Marshes, Treasure Island. Stella Serena, across the street is a 3/2 cottage that sleeps 6 and has incredible views of the marsh and Briggs Harbor. Stella Maris, across the yard is a 6/3 that sleeps 12 with wonderful sunsets and marsh views. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house. A security gate ensures resident access only for the 4 houses on the island. Other things to note Our outdoor amenities; gas grill, adirondack chairs, deck seating and fire pit are available seasonally.
