Description

Aloha, I am a Molokai ohana owner with roots to the island. I grew up performing Hawaiian mele and Hula to the patients of Kalaupapa. My kupuna still live in Molokai. The Hawaiian Isle of Molokai will take you back to a simpler, traditional way of life, a hidden gem untouched by mass tourism. This rural island is home to superlative wonders – including the world’s tallest sea cliffs & Hawai’i’s longest continuous fringing reef. The space Molokai Shores 314 is a condo located on the third floor (via staircase) that offers memorable views of the ocean. It has views of the Ancient Fishpond, islands Lanai, and Maui in the backdrop. This condo includes a breezy 1 bedroom with a Queen size bed, a comfortable queen size sofa bed, and a loft with 2 additional queen beds. The resort allows for 4 guests but we will accept up to 6 for an additional $75 linen/cleaning fee. This condo comes equipped with all your kitchen amenities, a 60" smart TV with cable, ceiling fans in three rooms, and wifi. Additionally, guests will have access to a series of shared amenities that include an outdoor pool (including a kiddie pool), BBQ grills with picnic tables, shuffleboard, putting green, coin laundry, florist, and hairdresser. Unit has no A/C but the tradewinds on the island make the unit breezy. It can get cold at night during the winter months. The loft can get hot as heat rises but there are ceiling fans & portable fans for you to use. Please note: Hawaii has a tropical climate. Insects, lizards, geckos, rodents thrive in this environment. We make every effort to minimize your contact with them. Geckos may find their way inside the unit. Black outs (electricity outages) within the island may also occur but usually get resolved as quickly as possible. Presence of these creatures and blackouts do not constitute a breach of contract or offer any guest rights to refunds. Policies -No Smoking -No pets allowed -No events, parties, or large gatherings -Kids ages 12 & below need to be accompanied by an adult at the pool -Minimum Age: Guests must be at least 21 years old to book and check in. Molokai Shores Resort Unit A 314 Property Address: 1000 Kamehameha V Hwy, Unit# A314, Kaunakakai, Molokai, HI 96478 This property is located in “Molokai Shores”. The property is not on the island of Maui, it is on the island of Molokai. The only airline serving Molokai is Mokulele Airlines. Please book your return flights on Mokulele website. Rental Car options: -Moloka’i Car Rental (local owned) -Alamo Car Rentals (at the airport) -Mobettah Car Rental (local) -Island Kine Cars (local) -Turo -Hele Mai Taxi  • West Molokai. The most arid part of the island, known as the west end, has two inhabited areas: the coastal stretch includes a few condos and luxury homes, and the largest beaches on the island; nearby is the fading hilltop hamlet of Maunaloa. • Central Molokai. The island’s only true town, Kaunakakai, with its mile-long wharf, is here. Nearly all the island’s eateries and stores are in or close to Kaunakakai. Highway 470 crosses the center of the island, rising to the top of the sea cliffs and the Kalaupapa overlook. At the base of the cliffs is Kalaupapa National Historical Park, a top attraction. • Kalaupapa Peninsula. The most remote area in the entire Hawaiian Islands is accessible only by air, on foot, or on a mule. It’s a place of stunning beauty with a tragic history. Note: Kalaupapa trail is currently closed until further notice. • East Molokai. The scenic drive on Route 450 around this undeveloped area, also called the east end, passes through the green pastures of Puu O Hoku Ranch and climaxes with a descent into Halawa Valley. As you continue east, the road becomes increasingly narrow and the island ever more lush. Mahalo, Melodie & Ohana Registration Details 540020130046, TA-121-991-3216-01
