This adorable wooden cottage feels bright, open, and spacious. It has modern amenities alongside its rustic charm. While it is a short distance away from our family home and one can hear the ambient hum of the highway, there is ample privacy with a separate parking spot, walkway, landscaping, and a private deck. EV charger! The cottage sleeps 2 in the queen bed, but there is seating for a dinner party of 6. It sits on a south-facing hill, looking out towards Monument Mountain. You’ll love it! The space *Beyond the north side of the property lies the turnpike, so there is some road noise. We rarely notice it, but we want to point this out to those who are sensitive to traffic noise.* This furnished guest house is located on our family compound on 12 acres, just 2 miles from the center of Stockbridge. Walk into the light-filled, fully-stocked kitchen with Subzero fridge, Viking stove, and island. The dining room table seats 6. There is a full bath with tub and a laundry room off the main living area. The cozy, double-high living room has a soapstone propane stove and 2 stories of windows with view toward Monument Mountain! Upstairs is the queen bed, TV, desk, and reading nook. Excellent wifi. Now with EV charger on-site! Guest access Drive to the top of the road and park to the left. There is a designated path with round pavers that leads to the front door of the cottage. There is an attached side deck for your use. You may also explore the woods and stream on this side of the road, or explore the property (including the hens!) across the road. Other things to note There are small children and pets on this property. Please drive slowly up the road and look out for them on either side of the road.
