My family’s one acre properties that were once part of a large farm are now homes with banana and avocado trees, along with beautiful indigenous plants native to Hawaii. The 1000 foot elevation and five minute drive to the beaches provide a cool and serene alternative to the quicker paced, people watching and warmer Kamehameha Highway District. Along with Pipeline and Sunset Beach, Haleiwa makes up the final piece of the Triple Crown of Surfing. A seven mile drive takes you to the quaint former Plantation town of Haleiwa which boast eateries and shopping that have been featured on syndicated food and travel channels. Fishing, diving, zip lining, surfing, paddling, snorkeling, cycling, sailing, shark expeditions, bird watching and skydiving are just some of the activities that are available. Newly renovated, 300 sq ft compact caretakers house comes with a full shower bathroom, queen bed, ceiling fans, full size stainless steal refrigerator and with 250 sq ft weather protected lanai perfect for outdoor living and star gazing. The little house is designed for couples and solo adventurers. The unit is a separate building from the main house and has its own entrance. Although it is small it provides all of the amenities needed for an enjoyable getaway. Safe and secure, the cottage is situated within a secured property.
