This cozy apartment is on a quiet tree-lined street, just a block or two from restaurants, shops, NYC bus stops, several city parks, a scenic waterfront, laundry & dry cleaners. The bus to NYC is just one block away. The apartment has been recently renovated and is in top condition. The neighborhood, is safe and has a relaxed atmosphere which allows a visitor to decompress from the hectic pace of New York City. Guests have enjoyed settling in to the quieter pace here. The space This apartment is on the second floor of a 3-family building. The bedroom has one queen bed and the living room has a full size sofa-bed. The apartment is tastefully furnished with fine artwork, comfortable furniture including a 50" smart TV and high speed internet. Windows to the apartment are thermo-pane and are effective in filtering any street noise from below. Newly installed heat pumps deliver quiet heat or air conditioning as the seasons require. The building sits in a neighborhood of quaint, brick row houses on a tree-lined street. There is an apartment above this one on the 3rd floor and my apartment is below. I insure that other tenants are non-smoking, as well as quiet and respectful of other's peaceful enjoyment of their lodgings. Long term guests are asked to participate in setting out the trash and recycling bins according to Hoboken’s pick up schedule and rules. Guest access There is a lockbox to the left of the front door where 2 sets of keys are available. I suggest taking one set and leaving a set for emergency backup. Guests check themselves in and out. The building entrance leads into a common hallway. This is the only shared space related to this apartment. Please keep voices low while using the common hallway. This building is in a safe neighborhood with friendly neighbors looking out for each other. Policing in Hoboken is excellent and the town boasts of a low crime rate. Other things to note Long term guests will be responsible for laundering sheets and towels. I will provide extra sets of sheets and towels in the apartment.
