#303 Victorian Apartment “Extended Stay Suite”

Lovingly restored and one of our more luxurious lofts is the Victorian Suite. It has a queen sized canopy bed complete with fine linens. Some guests have commented that they love the bed, stating they have never slept in such a comfortable bed. The apartment has dressing room, a full bath with a tub and shower and a kitchen that is fully equipped. Enjoy a bit of luxury or just treat yourself to a stay in this unique space. It has a style all its own. The space Enter the suite to find a relaxation area with a full size sofa, a coffee table and mantle with a Smart TV. The queen size 4 post bed is the focal point of the room, with luxury linens and the beautiful period canopy. The kitchen has a table for two, a full size stove with oven, a refrigerator, microwave and the original cabinets from 1935. The cabinets are stocked with “Dixie Dogwood dinnerware”, flatware and pots and pans. The bath has been updated with a new pedestal sink, toilet and waterfall shower/tub combination. The dressing room has a desk, chair and lamp which makes for a nice work area. If you are looking for an exciting afternoon, check out Rail Explorers, our preferred partner. Guest access Guests enjoy the entire suite. Other things to note Our building is old and was erected in 1915. There is no elevator and it is not handicapped accessible. With the suite located three floors above the city water access, be aware that it sometimes takes the water a while to arrive. The building is across the street from the Union Pacific railroad and trains rumble through Boone all hours of the day and night. Knowing that, it’s up to you to decide if you will enjoy the trains or not. We do have white noise machines available that muffle out the sounds of the trains. Just ask your host if you want one.
