This is Mavis! Welcome to my home! We offer an entire apartment that is located perfectly between downtown Jersey City, Journal Square, and McGinley Square. Our accommodations offer a full kitchen, lots of closet space, a wonderful view of uptown Manhattan (you get a picture frame view of the Empire State Building from the dining table.) If you want to explore Manhattan we are about 10 minutes walking distance to the PATH train direct to Manhattan (11 Minutes to World Trade Center.) The space This house is built in 1870 and it comes with the original fireplace (not function now) and marble counter. We allow up to 5 people, but based on the spaces, we would prefer 4 adults or 4 adults plus a kid. - 0.4 miles to JSQ PATH station - 6.8 miles to Newark Liberty International Airport - 1.4 miles to Liberty Science Center - 6 miles to MetLife Statium - One free parking, but car should be no bigger than a minivan to fit into the driveway ***NOTE*** The second bedroom does not have a door as the doorway is too small, so we put a curtain. Guest access The whole third floor - City view - Coffee and Tea Other things to note If you come back late in the evening (after 10pm), or leave in the early morning (before 8am), please make sure take off your shoes and walk quietly. It’s a townhouse and we share the walls with neighbors, so we don’t wake up neighbors by heavy steps. Thanks! Also, as required by the government, owners have to live in to host Airbnb, so we live downstairs. Tuesdays and Fridays are trash days, Thursdays are recycling days on our street. When the truck is picking up trash, it might be loud if you are sensitive to noise, but usually it will just last 10 mins, and they usually come before 10pm, but it happens sometimes they are here around 11pm.
