Description

Pet-friendly 2-bedroom apartment at the end of a quiet dead-end street close to the bike path. Stroll into downtown Northampton in just 15 minutes. Or take a 1 mile drive or bike ride to Smith College. Thoughtfully decorated with retro & contemporary details, local artwork, and a full kitchen, featuring two comfortable queen beds and a deep clawfoot tub for relaxation. A safe and serene retreat with quick access to everything. The space A beautiful, spacious, and private apartment on the first floor of a quaint, two-unit house from 1910. Filled with vintage charm and modern comforts, the space features original details like tin ceilings, ceramic sinks, and a deep clawfoot tub with all the amenities. Nestled at the end of a quiet street, this apartment is an ideal retreat for relaxation and unwinding. Each of the two bedrooms offers a cozy queen bed dressed in 100% cotton or linen sheets and warm down comforters (please let us know if you have allergies!). The living room provides one additional sleeping space with a twin day bed. Extra linens for this bed can be found in the dining room cabinet. For light sleepers, white noise machines are provided in each bedroom and the living room, as footsteps from the upstairs unit may occasionally travel through the floors. Voices and TV sounds are generally muffled, ensuring a peaceful stay. A fully equipped kitchen comes with pots, pans, utensils, flatware, glasses of all kinds, a coffee maker, toaster, oven, fridge, microwave, and some basic necessities like oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, and popular herbs so you can stay in and cook if that is your preference. Explore the scenic bike paths nearby that wind through town and extend to Easthampton, Southampton, Amherst, and Belchertown. A bike rack behind the house offers convenient storage for your adventures. We are currently hosting the work of a local artist called Shanee Epstein. Many of the prints are for sale so if you have any interest in taking one home, just let me know! I hope you enjoy them. My boyfriend, myself, and our dog George divide our time between the upstairs apartment and a home in Deerfield, so we’re always nearby if you need anything. Welcome to your ideal getaway! Guest access You will have access to the entire first floor apartment, the front porch, and one parking space on the left side of the house. The rear exit is for emergencies only. Please use the front door for entering and exiting the apartment. The basement is off limits to guests.
