Listen to your favorite music on the home Sonos system, or the creek from the back patio. Then head to the wood fired sauna. Located less than an hour to Yellowstone National Park, and at the doorstep to Big Sky Resort Winter Guests: All wheel drive vehicle required The space Dec 2025. Please note this house is undergoing some changes. Pictures will be updated soon. New pictures will show a King size bed in the Bedroom. Queen size living room floor bed. Also, I removed the wood burning heater for an electric freestanding heater for a multitude of reasons. Most everything else is correct in photos. This is a place for dreamers to reset, reflect, and create. Designed with a 'slow' pace in mind, our Our hope is that you enjoy every part of your stay; from making local coffee by French press in the morning, choosing the perfect music to put on as the sun sets, listening to the creek at the back patio, or just relaxing in the wood fired sauna. Did we mention rainbows and full moons?! We have everything for you to discharge and recharge. Built for two people to spread out, or accommodating 4 people with living room floor bed. Experience all the modern amenities in the beautiful greater Yellowstone Park ecosystem at Big Sky, Montana. The space This house is called an Earthship, a net metered home accompanied by a solar array with Tesla battery back up. This house is plumbed with on property spring water, generates its own electricity through solar, and passively moderates its own temperature all year round without the use of a furnace. Experience sustainability with all the modern amenities. Super fast fiber optic internet with WiFi, Netflix with a flat screen tv, large refrigerator/freezer, and oven/range. There is even a high efficiency washer/dryer in case you need to do laundry.
 You are a couple miles from fishing, golf, downhill skiing at Big Sky Resort, restaurants, and shops. We are located about 45 minutes to the West Yellowstone Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Your drive on the way is spectacular as it weaves in and out of Gallatin National forest and Yellowstone Park boundary, all along the famed fishing Gallatin River. Guest access Guest will have access to the entire 1600 sqft home. They will also have access to the 20 acres that surround the property, wood fired sauna, and the private mountain bike/walking trail that surrounds the property. (about a 20 minute beautiful walk). Don't forget to enjoy fresh spring water from the Gray Owl Spring. Other things to note This house is net metered and runs on solar with Tesla Powerwall backup. Please only use the soaps that are provided; the shower and sink drains go directly to watering the plants. If you must use your own soaps and they are not biodegradable products, please let me know so we can switch the drains directly to septic. The plants in the green house are there for you to enjoy! If they are ripe, please feel free to eat them.
