Built in 1785 this antique Cape was carefully restored to its original design about 20 years ago. The house is set on a quiet road in the middle of fields, woods, gardens, and hiking trails. it is secluded with easy access to the natural world. The rooms are book-lined and filled with family objects. It is close to Berkshire East for skiing and snowboarding in the winter and whitewater rafting and swimming in the summer. Mass MoCA and the Clark Museum are within an easy drive. The space With all its quirks and charms this historic home invites you into the past and offers the joys and pleasures of a peaceful rural landscape right out its windows and doors. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire original home. Other things to note A side porch has a swing, as well as a table and chairs for outdoor dining. It is a perfect spot for witnessing the breathtaking sunsets. A narrow staircase leads to the second floor and is original to the home. The kitchenette has a toaster oven if needed.
