The very comfortable queen Murphy bed hidden within the bedroom cabinet closets offers versatility, while the kitchenette boasts white marble countertops, top of the line air fryer/microwave, sink, and a small fridge with freezer. The large bathroom, equipped with ADA-compliant fixtures and beautiful antique vanity, is spacious and accommodating, complemented by high ceilings and fine materials throughout the entire area, adding to its charm and comfort. Imagining the lively scene of the horse-drawn carriage navigating through what is now the Carriage House Suite, serving as a pivotal spot for transporting travelers from the Bayou Teche ferryboat to the alleyway between the Duchamp Opera House and New Era Hotel, brings a vivid sense of history to the space.
