Tuck yourself away in our quiet, cozy home in the jungle! The room is on the second level of our beloved, turquoise home, back from the road on two acres. It features a memory foam XL Twin bed, an ensuite bathroom with shower, plenty of natural light, air conditioning, wifi, and access to my full kitchen. Avocados and surinam cherries grow on the property, which you are welcome to! A shared laundry room is also accessible. The space The home sits on 2 fenced acres of lush, tropical vegitation. We like it a little wild out here, so expect a natural setting, not overly manicured, but full of hidden gems. We have rescue dogs and cats that come inside and roam around the property. You'll definitely see them while you're here and some of them will try to say hello! The lower level of the home hosts an apartment for rent, also via Airbnb. While your stay may overlap with those guests, their space is private with a separate entrance from the main home where you will be staying. Finally, this property is partially off grid and located in a tropical rain forest. You can expect all the comforts of home (electricity, potable water, wifi, air conditioning, etc.), but you can also expect some things to be quirky. This is not a hotel experience, this is the real Hawai'i experience! People who love nature and country living will love it out here. <3 Guest access In addition to your room and bathroom, you are welcome to use the kitchen. Please keep in mind this is my personal home, and I am a full time grad student. I try to keep up with cleaning the kitchen, but don't expect it to be hotel-clean. Sometimes the dishes pile up, that's life. I thank you for your understanding! Other things to note I have online class at home on Tuesday from 1p-4p. My office space is open to the living room. I’ll wear earbuds but you may hear me talk on and off during these times. Your room and bathroom will always be clean and cozy upon arrival. The rest of the home is my personal space which I share with 3 dogs, 6 cats, and my partner, all of whom come and go throughout the day. There will be things out of order, so I encourage you to find a hotel or private airbnb if the “lived-in” look will bother you. I try to keep on top of things, but I'm only human!
