Other things to note The neighborhood is known for its tranquility and security, providing a sense of serenity and a tight-knit community feel. It’s the perfect neighborhood for bikes or an evening or morning stroll. Walk minutes to the bay side of the Atlantic for the calm water and breeze (we are two houses away) or a few more to the surf side and dunes. A three minute car ride lands you at the famous Nantasket Beach parking lot if you prefer to be in the action. Travel to Boston is easy, with ferry, train and car options nearby. Though there are playgrounds, local stores, restaurants, beaches and more in walking distance, I recommend bringing or renting a car for your stay. A few trash bags, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, and a clean sponge are provided to get you started. In the bathroom, expect shampoo, conditioner and body wash as well as toilet paper for the first few days. Basic cleaning supplies are also available for wiping down counters and washing dishes.
