Escape to the Lake!

Relax with family or friends at this little slice of heaven directly on Sunset Lake. The west facing views make the lake live up to its name. We purchased this home in fall 2023 so all furniture, paint and fixtures are relatively new! While this home is outdoor living at its best, we do have WiFi and TV for those who want it. There are 2 kayaks for use as well as a covered hot tub with lake views. You can walk into the shallow water from shore and jump off the dock with ease. The space This is our much used 2nd home so it is well stocked and cozy. Definitely family/kid friendly and offers great outdoor space to enjoy and explore. Please note a few things: 1) there is no oven. It’s a gas stovetop and large toaster oven/air fryer 2) the third bedroom is a walkthrough to the main (though there is also an external door for use) 3) we do not keep the hot tub on at all times so please let us know 48 hours in advance if you plan to use it so we may warm it up. November 1 - April 30 there will be a $50 surcharge to use the hot tub. 4) the lake begins lowering October 30 and is raised mid April. The dock will be out of the water when lowered. You can launch kayaks from the shoreline. Guest access Guests have access to the full house and exterior. There are also 3 beaches on the lake you can access - one of which is walkable and has a playground! Other things to note Please note their is no oven … there is a range and a large toaster oven. The third bedroom is a walkthrough to the main. The main can also be accessed through an exterior sliding door if necessary. Close your Wachusett mountain for skiing and mount monadnock for great hiking. Get out and explore! AS OF MAY 15: The outdoor shower has been turned on for the season.
